We visited Nyeri Museum in our annual tour and kids learnt much on the mau mau history. The new museum which is put up on the former colonial court that prosecuted Kenyan Freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi is a great source of history for the Kikuyu people in Kenya but with very minimal visitors per day as they are not even aware of what the museum has to offer and how significant it is to the history of the freedom fighters.
A great youth organization at Gil Gil, the kids visited the organization and made this video. The idea was to learn innovation skills through actual site visit and ask questions as well as make a video.
