FEEDING THE CITIES

The cities of Africa grow and places where you would grow crops now replaced by buildings and roads , the population also growing at a very high rate. The hunger for real estate money thriving without any plans on where the cities will get their foods. lands in fertile places like Kiambu now becoming part of the city of Nairobi instead of good planning that reserves some land for farming. This project though seeks to solve such problem for the already populated areas of Nairobi city. By introducing farming at the rooftops of populated places like slums and the ghettos.
Gifted kids visited Hydroponics Africa to understand the project. Children then made a video out of the visit.
